at lunch point...
after the >12hrs ride to terengganu paka river camp, we unloaded our stuffs, had dinner and made the bed for ourselves ...
we had to go through a night walk too! with only 2torches per group... we had to bash through bushes with sharp branches.. and i got scratched already...
as it rained in the afternoon there, there were many leeches lah! this is my first time encountering with leeches, there was a leech on me! but it didnt bite me yet. i touched it leh! and i screamed and swept it away..! it was damn squishysquashy can... disgusting...
so many people had leech bites! bleeding like madd hahahah. CRAZYY~there was solo nightwalk too! rather freaky can.. u will imagine some trees were actually some figures that u aint suppose to see.. moonlight was the only light! and it was bright!

the night was cold, and i was just too lazy to take out my jacket and trackpants and socks, so i slept in the cold with only fbt shorts and ajpetee and adventura shirt to cover myself...


DAY2:
got ready for the expedition,
first part of trek was cool, not tiring, many varieties...
the guide thinks its harder than belumut ... but till that point, nah lah. with my full backpack, i wasnt even panting can. hahahah =X
the waterfall was nice! and the j1s were amused man hahahah, i had to admit, the waterfall was nicer than stong's.
2nd part.. was more tiring, with much more steeper slopes man..
and then it started raining (finally the j1s got to trek in rain) and it was pouring!
fortunately by the time we reach basecamp it wasnt raining...
mrchin asked me something weird... he ask me if i was feeling okay... cuz i didnt go down to the water to bathe at the basecamp... like i usually do... hmmm yea. that kinda struck me also.. why didnt i go down like i usually do...? why?? im not quite sure too....
dinner and slept :D it was early. like 10+ only?

DAY3:
only had to pack daypack, but it was still heavy cuz we need to share bags..
and in my group there were only 3girls, so the 3 of us, me yurong and kat, shared the bag. quite heavy bah.. took turns to carry bag.. but siao lah. everyone was so stubborn can. don wan to pass the bag to another person...
the summits were disappointing can... berembun : just a bigger flat land, with trees all around, no scenery, nothing! hahah .. got lah.. got signboard...
there was this waterfall place for lunch, super shiok!, but stong's one looks nicer! this one more fun! can slide down waterfall de leh!i kept sliding down! so funnnn~ and it was cold can! the girls pee-d at the top, while the guys are at the bottom... diaoo...
continued our trek to 2nd summit.. but it started to rain heavily.. and the 2nd summit was as disappointing. cuz we walked past it and i didnt realise.. . back to basecamp, dinner and slept!
the tents were all so wet!, those nearer to the river was even almost flooded that they had to be shifted up... poor male teachers had to sleep at rocks and roots... kudos to them...

DAY4:descent and got ready for kayaking... down river.. pretty fun! but i guess it is dangerous.. cuz if u cant control well, u will bang into trees (with thorns) and imagine they hook onto you and u are on your kayak, and the river is pushing u away. but u are still hooked on to the thorns... OUCH can... poor eugene got balls of thorns on his pretty face... my kayaking partner was yihang.. nice and helpful guy yea.. sorry if i was mistreated u =X ahhaha

mrchin's cam was spoilt cuz of kayaking and capsizing.. haiss... he was feeling quite momo about that man :(

base camp was.. smelly. and leech-infested (the toilet there).... but at least it was dry :D
it had alot of sandflies too. rawr! so itchy scratchy can... it was so warm at night lah.. and many of us had to squeeze into one tent cuz another tent was spoilt hahahah...
pretty stars there... reminded me of rinjani.... but rinjani's was much more prettier.. just that the night was too cold at rinjani to star gaze... i saw shooting stars.. many actually... and i see stars moving!!! so cool! sat down by the beach and watched the stars with j1 girls....

DAY5: continue kayaking.... river was no longer so strong... infact the wind was against us.. ZOMG. tiring can.. with the sit-on-tops.... morale was quite low at times.. there was this time too, for us to pick mussles (how to spell!) from the beach.. pretty interesting...
had a mini race back to campsite.. hahahah so fun! washed up the kayaks and tents.. (the tents are so dirty can). but had fun while washing the tents lah. spraying water around.... running about the grass patches... eating snacks for lunch... scratching each other's back... hahhah

had the first bath in how many wet and dirty days.. (unlike rinjani, 4days3nights without rain, and minimal sweat). everyone felt so clean... got ready to leave for dinner and pasar malam! hahah... joined the teachers for many things... got to know them more! hahahah mr chin, mr ong, mr larry lee (just tagged along), ms ng, and jingxin... 3 GP teachers can. haahah
i bought the magnetic drawing board thing can. so cute...

debriefed... joined the j1 girls to gossip in the middle of the night. hahah so fun lah!!

Day6: was mainly eating and sitting on the bus.. nothing much ahahhaha

ohkay i got to thank dajie for his company most of the time.. bringing me in into the group of teachers...

and also ms ng... my trekking buddy HAHAHHAHA
mr ong: for his long talk on the bus, and the kenny rogers meal... and understanding that it is quite tough to be the only j2 around,
mr lee : for his very funny looks, behaviour and things that he says... interesting teacher HAHAH
and of course mrchin! for everything that he had done for odac.. kudos to him, tough being a oic teacher, and he's very funny too!
thanks to the teachers as a whole for welcoming me into their group hahahaha

and of course my tentmates : keet(fungi,meatball) and huiwen... hahaha fungi is super cute can hahahah. i woke up in the middle of the night with her face right infront of me.. .. huiwen.. for her very funny comments... she's very man.. like me ! hahaha

kat (xiao hai zi, miao miao) and yurong : for being sort of er trekking buddies? inviting me to their group while shopping and eating etc...

zhiyan : for coordinating the angel mortal game, including all the teachers. and for the many gifts that these angels had gave me.. hahaha

yihang for being my kayaking partner hahah offering me to rest and eat whenever possible...

veron : for lending me her toiletries!!!

and many others! : wanqing(burger), diana, yunlin, dawn, eugene, yunrui, shaam, allister, weicheng, rongjie, nigel, weijieSSS, jeremy, marcus, russell. for the good trip. and for the many lessons i've learnt from all of you too...

and not forgetting keith for lending me his backpack! hahah

ODAC- it's not about the activities but the company that matters..

i would have wished that the trip was for 23rd comm, for i know that it will be more fun and meaningful with my dearest 23rd... let's all jiayou for studies and enjoy 8th june..... see yas

jiayou also 24th comm... u guys are great... and like many others have said, u all have great potential to be a strong batch, don let anything drag all of you down.... a good batch needs to have good leaders and good followers... im sure u all have it... jiayou! remember all the debrief points shared and yea. continue to work hard k!. now study hard!! hahahah
